Sabrina is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Illinois since 2003. She is the owner of Be Touched Massage Therapy focusing on In-home and In-office massage. When traveling to the home the included supplies are: massage table, (unless you have one of your own) sheets, a heated fleece table cover, relaxing music, and oil. As for you the client, provide a space in your home that is quiet, warm, and relaxing; one where shades can be pulled to darken the room.

Fitness and nutrition are also incorporated into her massage practice; its important to be healthy on the inside as well as the out. Workouts are a must to keep up her stamina to do hours of massage. Sabrina will get her sweat on by popping in a fitness DVD at home or go out on dry mild mornings or evenings for brisk speed walks. Nutrition is also important to keep her going for those intense workouts. Though she is not an expert in nutrition she does her best to eat well and also encourage others to eat healthy. What about hydration? The body is made up of 90% of H2O, so the consumption of H2O to keep well hydrated is another BIG part of taking care of herself. Encouraging extra water intake especially after a massage; flushing out toxins released during a massage.
Massage is every where these days. You’ve seen chair massage in airports and malls, it’s getting to be very main stream… It’s not considered fu-fu or a luxury anymore, it is a way to relax and unwind our busy minds and bodies. Another way to care for ourselves.
